Victoria’s Big Build has been an infrastructure investment in having Victorians and visitors able to move around the state easier. Part of this investment is a number of rail crossings where currently rail and roads intersect, so as to speed up commute times under the Level Crossing Program.
One of these projects is the establishment of Melton Train Station located in Melbourne’s west as part of the growing expanse of Melbourne’s suburbs. The project includes integrating a number of level crossings bypassed and the construction of a new train station for the expansive development in the area.
Waterproofing Integrity were engaged to review the designs of the project lift pit, internal considerations and then the rail corridor above the station below.
