Facade Water Testing
Facade Water Testing, conducted in accordance with AAMA 501.2
NATA Accredited • Non-Destructive
Wind-driven rain exploits even the smallest defects in façade systems, often causing leaks within window frames, joints, or cladding panels. Rain wand testing simulates these conditions by applying correctly pressurised and patterned water spray to the façade while monitoring inside for leakage. Conducted in accordance with AAMA 501.2, this test exposes installation weaknesses early and verifies the weatherproofing performance of curtain walls, cladding, and glazing.

Why Choose This Test?
Using calibrated spray equipment and measured distances, our trained technicians direct water at joints, windows, and cladding panels while monitoring internal conditions for leaks or dampness. This ensures the façade system can resist water under realistic wind‑driven rain conditions.
Testing to AAMA 501.2 – recognised international standard
Non‑destructive test using controlled pressure and spray patterns
Ideal for verifying new installations or diagnosing reported leaks
Detailed reporting with photo evidence and test outcomes
